my 04 B6 S4, the reverse, 5th and 6th gear i either cant get to go into gear or only once in 30 tries. it happens both car running and off so im pretty sure its a linkage problem. Im also pretty sure its the sock shifter set up as the ball that is seated is plastic and seems to be chipping. Also there is a WHOLE LOT of play, and movement.
My intention is to buy the JHM short shift set up.
Just wanted to see what anyone here might think that has had or heard of this problem......
