Can someone tell me if all RS4's were made 50 state legal or if not how I could go about verifying if a certain one is indeed 50 state legal? Thank you

Been thinking about this also. Is there such a thing as a CARB legal kit for the RS4's. I've seen kits for Infiniti G37's and even M3's (Dinan woople chargers) CARB legal.

Brought mine from Chicago (originally purchased in Maryland) to California and had no problems registering or smog. RS4 is 50-state. You need to pass a visual inspection (at DMV) when first bringing it in. If you already live in California the process might be slightly different

What did you have to do registration wise to get it into CA?

It was 3 years ago so don't quote me (you can find all the info on the CA DMV site). But, after moving here I had to register the car (within 10 days or something like that!). In order to register the car I had to have the car smogged, decide if I wanted to transfer the title to CA, have a DMV visual inspection, and pay registration.

Pretty sure there are no kits that are CARB certified.
