No offense but my 034 Motorsports stage 3 tune sucks. I've spent lot's and lot's of money on my whip with RS6 turbos and anyway does anyone know a good tuner? I am fully willing to pay whatever I need to pay for the best tune available. At this point I have thought about replacing it because the tune is really rough. It shudders and just feel like complete crap. I even emailed 034 about the tune telling them how bad it sucked and they called me a week later out of the blue with some sort of bull crap. The sad thing is the PO paid like $700 or so. My previous b5 a4 stage 3 tune was done by giac and it was a 2000 j31 file like 10 years ago. I remember everything about the tune was super smooth. Ya so anyway. If you want to tune my car just post here or send me a PM.

Am I alone in my thinking here?

    Yes.

90% of the time people that blame tunes have hardware issues.

Not in my case. Tune was bad, tuner was lying through his teeth to people about it. Talk to Blake Beadle on FB or contact him through ETSPEC he can help

Well if the OP is 100% sure there is no hardware issues, Corradovolksb is also very helpful and knowledgeable.

Wait so you put a custom tune on your car from someone that sold it to you? I would be checking the validity of the tune first.

Ughhhhh, I hate when I spend lots of money on my whip and it shutters. You have a hardware problem. Stop blaming 034.

Start with checking for vacuum leaks, pop the hood audibly listen for anything
    Smoke test
Double check that every mod the PO said was installed can be accounted for at least the visible stuff (intercooler type, MAF sizing, downpipes/exhaust, bipipes, etc)
Cross check that information against the 034 tune that was "installed" or flashed with 034
Then revisit the re-tune route, I can imagine sourcing a custom tune when you are not familiar with what was initially installed when the hardware was upgraded could be a difficult task
