    B7 RS4 rear diff - SOLD

    Update: Sold

I got this rear diff for a project but decided to not use it since the other parts wouldn't work. It is from a B7 RS4 and in great shape. Would be a fantastic candidate for a limited slip install and you wouldn't be required to have downtime for the car while in the process of getting the limited slip installed into the case.

This has a 4.111 final drive gear ratio and should fit any B6/7 A4 or S4. It physically fits in my B6 S4 but the final drive ratio is not correct without a transmission swap because the S4s used a 3.889 final drive ratio.

    $350 shipped.

Not trying to impact your sale, but the diff code might be helpful.
Also, the rear driveshaft becomes a factor when replacing a rear diff (if the housing is a different length)

I can get the diff code and I can get the part number too if you want.

Also I have multiple rear diffs easily available for pictures if you want side by side pictures or I can even set this one on top of the other ones for a length comparison. From the research that I did before it seems like some of the RS4 guys like Koolade9 are running the older style black and grey cases from pre-2007 B6/7 A4s/S4s so this should swap.
