    VCDS Live Readout Display

I have read that it is possible to show live readouts of boost levels, oil temps, etc... using VCDS.

I am thinking of trying to make my own instead of spending several $100 on gauges or a display. My thoughts was to somehow use a Raspberry PI with their 7" touchscreen connected through the ODB2.

Has anyone heard of anyone making a mod with a small screen to show these readouts? I am looking for a starting place to my project.
