audi a4 b8.5 motor mounts leaking

Just found out the motor mounts are cracked and leaking. I've been experiencing vibration on idle and thunking. Luckily it's under warranty. I'm not sure why the mounts failed. Does anyone know when these typically wear out? My car only has less than 30,000 miles.

Both or just a single mount?
It's all how you drive and or defective mounts.
