Milltek vs Factory Sport Exhaust- Hearing Is Believing

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
This is a call out to any NorCal S7 owners with a cat back resonated Milltek exhaust.

I have the factory Sport Exhaust and have been following several threads regarding the benefits to a tuned Milltek exhaust system. Although the sound clips are helpful, it’s hard to spend $4,000 plus without hearing it in person.

I’m willing to drive anywhere in Norcal AND lunch/dinner/cocktails are on me.

Not in NorCal, but I recently installed a Milltek non-resonated exhaust for about $2300 here in north Jersey. Resonated does add about $400 I think to the price. Either way, you need to shop that quote around.

    Will do. Thanks.
Did you go from standard factory exhaust to Milltek?
What do you think of the sound?

I went from factory sport exhaust to Milltek non-res. It sounds really great. There can be a very slight drone at highway speeds. It's a weekend car for me so that didn't bother me. It's barely a drone- what I notice is when I am easing back into throttle at highway speeds it sputs a bit, like a flap that was closed suddenly opens. Barely noticeable though.
