2007 Audi A3 S-line nicely modified.
For sale is my beloved 2007 Audi A3 S-line 2.0T which has been carefully modified and upgraded over the years. I am having to change jobs which requires a larger vehicle so I am letting go of my very reliable toy. I am not a racer, I drive with spirit but not crazy and I take good care of my vehicles, this one you must see. This car was featured on an article on the Rezmoto magazine in 2009 and got second place at Fixxfest 7 the same year.
First the stats, the car is a 2007 Audi A3 S-line with 121k miles. It is the factory charcoal color with the black interior and panoramic dual sunroof. Below is a description of the modifications and improvements I have made over the years, Most mechanical upgrades were done by USP motorsports and maintenance has been done regularly including replacing the fuel pump cam follower at every oil change since installing the APR upgraded pump.
Engine:
Well maintained 2.0t FSI BPY engine and DSG transmission. Timing chain water pump and top end/cam replaced by dealer at 43k due to failed fuel pump. Customized GHL quad tip 3” Turbo back exhaust with Apr downpipe. Evolution Motorsports intake system and engine cover with badges. Nuespeed Hi-flo Turbo discharge kit and intercooler pipe. ECS billet Aluminum oil filter housing. Forge transmission mount upgrade. Forge oil catch can kit. Forge Turbo Billet blow off valve with switchable spacer. APR upgraded high pressure fuel pump. Apr Tuned ECU program stage II with FlipSwitch control via cruise control arm.
Exterior:
Original charcoal color, 3m dynoc carbon fiber wrap on hood, mirrors, and a beautiful Oettinger full body kit (front cap, side skirts, rear bumper). Black Grille with LED accented Audi Logo. Projector Depo LED headlights with LED accents and parking lights. LED smoked rear brake and parking lights. LED smoked driving lights under the bumper from the Audi S6. LED smoked side marker lights. High power driving/fog lights. Moldings removed in rear.
Suspension:
H&R Sport Cup suspension kit with springs and struts. Upgraded brakes with Stoptech stainless brake lines, pads and Adams vented/Drilled rotors. Calipers upgraded with Tyrolsport Brake caliper kit. Car is sitting on a set of ASA JH8 18” wheels with 225/40ZR-18 Kumho Ecsta 4X II XL tires installed in November (less than 6k on them). Ride is solid without being harsh. Car sits lower than standard S-line but not too low. Geometry is maintained and can be aligned.
Interior, electronics:
LED light kit for interior lights. Audi rubber mats and cargo matt in rear. Whistler remote radar detector in dash. Escort shifter ZR3 laser diffuser with emitters in grill and rear. Custom Glowshift Boost/Vac Gauge in business card holder slot. Euro under seat storage bins added for driver and passenger. Audio system is a JVC KD-NX5000 navigation unit with DVD and built-in 30gb hard drive, it has an Ipod interface, Bluetooth, XM radio (will need to activate), Backup camera and steering wheel control support. Tinted windows all around (legal). Special UV tint on windshield to reduce heat. SPY GSM alarm system with app support, track and control and start engine from smart phone. Ultimate Pedals brushed aluminum pedal set.
Notes:
A previous clear wrap on the hood and fenders left paint damage, carbon fiber wrap is in need of replacement and there is a bit of road rash on the front bumper, I would suggest a respray of the front cap and hood. Rear spoiler finish looks tired also.
Tires were replaced in November, brakes inspected along with full service this month. Driver side seat has one small crack from age and driver matt shows wear. Driver window gives some grief on pinch protection making the window not go up from half way sometimes but does if you go down first, I think the issue is slack in the regulator cables that I have not had the time to investigate.
The alarm requires a gsm card, it’s currently using Ting service and gets commands via text messages and the phone app. I will leave the card and give the login to change the account.
Maintenance performed to schedule or beyond, oil changes with spec oil every 5k miles with cam follower changed on apr fuel pump needed or not. All service done just last week.
I will supply a box with a bunch of spare parts, the original radio and other tidbits plus all the documentation I can find.
