Since I've sold my 2011 Ibis White A4 Avant, I've created this photo thread as a place to visit when my seller's remorse kicks in.

Right? A facelifted air leather shift knob was on my to do list. The B8 version looks like something out of a domestic.

I appreciate it, man. I was pretty torn about selling it but it sold before I could change my mind. I definitely loved the car. I think an allroad is next.

Well, we didn't get ours and A4 Centaur's cars together for a photo, but I'm looking at allroads now so I'll have a wagon again as soon as I find one.

Yeah, I wish I could've kept mine while adding an allroad. I saw you mentioning that in the Avants Classifieds section. Find one yet? I still love B7 avants. The rear hatch lines were so good in that generation. I sometimes felt our B8 hatch lines were a little too sloped and not upright enough if that makes sense.

I think I'm leaning towards B8.5 but I haven't seriously looked at the B9s yet so I need to. Whichever I go with will be on coilovers as soon as I buy it.

Thanks, Kosta. The decision to sell kind of crept up out of nowhere, and the car sold relatively quickly. I listed it for sale here on Feb. 1 and on Craigslist a day or two later. Took a deposit for it on Feb. 10 and turned it over to the new owner yesterday.

I'd been looking into what it would cost to face-lift the front end and found it was pretty expensive. If I had a B8.5 front end I would've kept the car for sure. It was definitely tough to sell, but I'm hoping finding an allroad will help distract me.

Your car kind-of inspired me to special order an Allroad in a unique color... and drop it a couple of inches... adding the 19" wheels (I prefer your wheels too). Should be the only B9 Avant in Misano Red Pearl in the US when I'm done.

Thought it was time to chime in here. I'm the proud new owner of Shane's uber clean, uber sweet avant! While I don't have any updated pictures I do have a few cosmetic plans for it.
Already ordered:
1) Custom flat bottom steering wheel, air leather on sides.
2) Europrice's B8.5 Air-leather shift knob
3) S-line side blades
4) 4" tips to replace the stockers.
5) Black rings for the tailgate
6) Laminex clear headlight, clear foglight and lightly tinted rear brake light film

Thanks again, Shane! It's in good hands, I'll continue the journey!

Chad..... I had my tails lightly tinted on my allroad. It looks great on white.

The best part---- this lights are still nice and bright at night.

Flat-bottom wheel, facelift air leather shift knob and side blades were on the to-do list until I got silly and sold it. But so happy it went to a ther enthusiast who is going to keep the project going!

My allroad should be here Tuesday. I'll post about it once it gets here - can't wait!

Thanks. Wheels on the white A4 avant were OEM 19x8.5 et43 rotors as part of the Titanium Sport Package. Tires were 245/35/19 Conti DWS06 (OEM size is 255/35/19).

I just picked up an allroad and I think most owners would say 20s on the allroad look best.

I would agree that 20s look best. But I picked mine up Saturday and had it dropped Weds, and I honestly don't hate it on the stocker 18s (and I really like the ride). Your old avant looked great on 19s which has made me re-think the 20s route a bit since 19s might be a good compromise between looks and ride quality.
