HELP (DIY) Q5 Cooling Fan Replacement (Bearings Failing) - Help Please !!

Can someone give any diagram or information on how to replace a Q5 (2012) Radiator Cooling Fan??

I have the replacement fan and cannot figure out how to get the old cooling fans out. I see no screws or anything on the housing, it just seems to sit on these brackets yet it won't come up off of the radiator.

I have tried removing everything I can think of and cannot seem to get the cooling fans out

    Please help!!

    Thank you!
    John

Did you remove the three bolts at the center of each fan?

Yes, I tried that too, there is no way to just slide the fan out. The housing around it has to be removed and I have had no luck figuring out how to pull that out.

Press the fan shroud left and right locking tabs at the same time and remove the fan shroud upward from the radiator?

Also, I am assuming it is a 2.0T?

Yes, it is a 2.0T. Where are the locking clips on the fan housing? All the clips I see look like they just sit on top of a bracket freely.

What do you have to remove to access the clips? Do I need to pull the whole bumper?

HELP (DIY) Q5 Cooling Fan Replacement (Bearings Failing) - Help Please !!

I have a 2011 q5 3.2 I am currently trying to get fan assembly removed with no luck. I have to be missing something I can't get the tabs to release. Pushed up from the bottom and basically lifted the car some but assembly would not budge.
    Update:
Finally found the release tabs but I still can't get the assembly out of the car. Do I have to take the radiator out also?
