I have a question for you regarding the electrical method these LEDs defeat the CANBUS system.

Are these LEDs drawing the same amount of power as an incandescent bulb, or is it "just enough" power to avoid tripping CANBUS/VCDS sensing systems?
If they are drawing the same power, are they equally as hot, or running either cooler or hotter?

Over the years I had tried out a number of bulbs on my 2007 Audi A3 that claimed to defeat VCDS. Most didn't, and required installing an in-line resistor in order to mimic the resistance of the original bulb. I declined to do that. I'd heard reports of these resistors getting very hot, and thus you'd have to be careful with how they were mounted. I didn't want to take a chance.

About 3 years ago, I found a source that had CANBUS error free LED 7507 (amber) bulbs, which worked as turn signals. They've been working great as my rear turn signals and utilize the light housing even better than the original incandescent bulbs. However, I cannot use them on both front and rear at the same time. If I do, I get VCDS bulb out errors. My guess is that in 1 pair, they still draw enough power not to trip VCDS, but if there's 2 pairs, then there's not enough resistance on the circuit. So I just chose to have them on the rear. And they still work great. No errors.

I was wondering if deAutoLEDs would work for the front 7507 bulbs on my 2007 A3 without throwing any bulb out errors, if I have those others still installed for the rear turn signals.
