    ECU for 2.7biturbo APB engine?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
In the middle of doing a engine swap, and need a ECU for the new engine, which is a APB engine 2.7biturbo 254ps.
As for now, i have come up with the info that is uses a Bosch ME7.1 ECU with part nr. 8D0907551H.

But can anybody confirm this or direct me to the correct one?

    Thank you

any apb ecu will work, you can put any tune on them, just be sure its for a 2.7t apb and not a bel. again since your are doing a b6 swap you would get answers quicker about the swap if you ask in the b6 forum there is an official swap thread that helps with this stuff.
Never argue with an idiot, they'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

In my conversion the ecu from the donor C5 was used with a custom tune. I'm actually going to start tweaking a nefmoto tune so that I can have the tune I want exactly.

Try to go over to the 2.7 DIY post. Tons of information there.

one small caveat with a6 ecu's, there is a small tab in them that prevents them from plugging into a s4 harness, if you use a small pair of needle nose pliers and break the tab out it plugs in and works fine. No idea why because both harnesses work the same, maybe a way to charge more for replacements, not a clue.

    Yes, you can.

Just remember, you'll either have to have IMMO defeated, or matched to your cluster.

Or get the M tune without immo already. After taking the ecu out of my B6 in favor of an MTM tuned ECU I discovered the tune was c5 A6 stock tune
    6spd manual
Immo delete. Not sure who tuned it but it worked great. Slightly higher boost than stock rear O2 defeated as well.
