    Questions about replacing brake pads/rotors

I've had it with the squeaking due to the OEM pads and looking to replace them with Akebonos. I've been reading on the subject and a lot of people also replace the rotors at the same time. If I replace both of these in the front, do I need to replace any pins/bolts? I noticed that ECS has an installation kit that come with bolts and pins and wondering if it's necessary or replace only if there's some wear/tear on the original bolts/pins. Is there a post that you find most helpful in going about replacing the rotors/pads? There are quite a few out with various info.

I didn't replace any of the pins or bolts when I did mine. I replaced the front pads and rotors at the same time. Make sure you get a new wear sensor when you order new pads.

This is a good DIY for the fronts: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...or-Replacement

There is not a good post with all the information sadly. We really should make a sticky.

No need to replace the bolts every time. There are plenty of DIYs for the front brakes, not many for the rears.
