Hi everyone!,

This is my first post so im not sure how descriptive I have to be but im going to be as descriptive as possible. So the story starts about 1,000 miles ago after my Big turbo build. ONLY thing changed in the cooling system was the T-stat. We went with the 2.0 Tstat because its not electrical and tends to fail far less than the 1.8 electric tstat. I should mention I went cheap on the t-stat due to budget. Apart from that what happened was the day after i got finished with the build, blew the rear coolant flange O-Ring. Replaced and forgot to bleed system and saw the temp gauge going up and realized I was an idiot. Bleed the system no issues carried on for another 200 miles. Then the car one morning started to get to 3/4ths on the temp gauge and continued rising. Pulled over turned around and went home. Bleed the system once or twice and it was fine for another 200 miles. This process of overheating carried on about every 200 miles until jsut up to a few days ago the bleeding stopped working. No heat out of vents even when the temp surpassed 3/4ths but the SECOND i put the car under full throttle, BLAZING HEAT comes out of the vents. I had a 40 minute drive home putting the car under load to keep the temp from rising. Top coolant Temp Sensor was already replaced but the bottom temp sensor is pretty crusty. Already have swapped coolant and because im a cheap you know what I didnt use G13 and used the green crap. Should mention I drained the old G13 that was in in before just dumping the green coolant in. Before the other night about a day before car was doing the same thing and the temp got a little over 3/4ths going uphill at about 30mph and just dipped down to normal and heat returned and was fine the hole way home until the next day. If anyone can help me solve this issue considering the cars my daily it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! - Colin
