INTAKES: So many options, which is best/ most popular?

I have been looking at getting an intake for a while, and its about time. There are so many different options, all with unique designs. I like a few of them in particular, but I would like to know what the consensous is among AZ users.
So, which intake do you think is best/ which do you have/ which would you buy if you were to buy one?

I am curious also. I am running just a AFE dry filter for now. I like that the 034 uses the factory air box base.

The 'stock mod' wasn't listed, but it does rock! $50 for a drop-in filter and 30 minutes' work does make a huge difference.

I have already opened up the airbox inlet, and removed the snow grate. I am looking for a complete intake system after about 10 months of using the modified stock intake

I have the AWE and love it. I was convinced it would yield the most power since it's closed, but the 034 likely accomplishes the same thing (and might flow better due to the CF outlet vs. stock accordion).

It increases turbo noise a tad - maybe 50%.

I like the CF intakes, particularly the 034 motorsports one. It also helps that 034 are coming out with a CF valve cover to match.

So I just was thinking the same and cannot justify $500 for an intake with nominal gains. Long story short, there is the CTS Turbo inlet pipe that's about $100ish along with k&n filter, you should gain the same for about $150. A user dynod the CTS, aftermarket intake and OEM intake separately and the CTS gained 6-8whp, the intake nada.

While the intake make the engine bay pretty, I'd spend that money on other things (jb1, ecu tune, downpipe, exhaust, etc.)

I've got an AWE one on the way. Urotuning was running a solid deal on them (10% off plus $50 gift card) so I went for it. From what I can tell, the gains on the AWE and 034 are pretty much the same. Probably can't go wrong with either. I like the cf engine cover 034 is making to match, hopefully the cf pattern is similar to the AWE intake, would really like the cover as well.

I wanted a closed system so it wouldn't be obnoxiously loud.
I wanted carbon fiber, because pretty.
I wanted a good looking design.

When I decided there was AWE and APR to choose from, APR was lower cost, and looked a little cooler, so I got that.

No issues with it, works as advertised, and sounds good with the windows down (can't hear much with them closed). The only thing I would like different is CARB exemption.

CARB Exemption is why I go straight to Neuspeed. Doesn't hurt that their parts have excellent build quality and reasonable pricing.

No issues with my AFE. And I love the sound. That's the only reason I purchased it...
