Bubbling on Chrome Trim?

Has anyone ever experienced bubbling in the chrome trim around the grill like I have? I didn't see any cracks, but it looks just ugly now. Makes me question the build quality on the 2009 A3 :-/

I've noticed a lifting of the chrome film on the S3 front air dam trim. I'm going to ask the dealer to replace it.
