Going Skiing in about 4 weeks and curious to know what the masses use to secure snow skis, poles and so on to the cross bar racks on their Audi's. Thanks in advance for your time and information...

I use an Inno ski rack from Amazon. Cost about 100$ and attached to the bars nicely. You may need the longer screw set for your skiis and boards depending on their thickness.

with the limited cargo space we have, i went with the thule force xl cargo box. that way, i'm not limited to just putting skis/snowboards on the roof. i can throw all my ski clothes, boots, helmets, etc., up there as well.

Im running Thule aeroblade crossbars, they are the only adjustable crossbars. The other options slot straight into the factory holes on the rails and sit pretty far back on the car. I have a Thule flow 606 ski box on order for the winter setup, wanted a little more space for gear and to keep boards/skis out of the snowy road muck.
