    Parts interchangeability between B6 A4 6MT and C5 A6 6MT..?

    Hello all,

    I may have the opportunity to swap some parts between a B6 A4 1.8T 6MT Quattro and a C5 A6 2.7T 6MT Quattro.

The B6 has a metal slave cylinder as well as the ECS RA4 clutch kit. Will these parts swap over to the C5?

I may be interested in any other parts that might work as well. Does anyone have any knowledge on other parts that are interchangeable between the two?

The RA4 uses a S4 clutch kit which is compatible, but the flywheel isn't.
Unsure about slave cylinder compatibility... looks like Audi had a VIN split from 2004 on the slave cylinder when they introduced the 6-speed to the B6 1.8T. Couldn't tell you what the actual difference is, but from pictures they do look a little different.

    C5 has an 01E. B6 1.8T w/ 6MT has an 02X, which is a completely different box. (early B6 3.0 have the 01E, though).
