    APR Stage 2 upgrade - $1000.00

Currently APR Stage 1. Is the upgrade to Stage 2 worth the $1000.00 (including labor)? Does the gains of 17HP and 18TQ noticeable? Any constructive feedback appreciated.

on paper the gains are tame compared to stage 1 for sure but I would say in my experience it is worth it. I would be rather surprised if you ended up going stage 2 and regretted it as the power and particularly the torque are much more noticeable for whatever reason throughout the rev range where stage 1 was primarily felt when pulling to red line (at least for me). labor at my shop was $160 total but I am able to flash back to stock w/ no charge as long as I call a day ahead to let them know otherwise I would not have gone w/ them.

I don't know why people aren't waiting for 034 to roll of nation wide. 1,100 for stage 2 software, 1,600 installed including pulley

I already have APR stage 1. Why change to a new vendor and pay even more?

If I had to guess, its because 034 isnt updating their development thread so people are wondering if theyre abandoning the endeavor (beyond stage 2) or are just taking longer to develop it. That would be my thought. I get that the stage 2 is done, but I'd rather see my tuner develop. That being said, Im eagerly waiting.

Don't let the numbers fool you.... if you want more power, it's definitely worth it. As is the DSG tune... as it provides even more power due to increased RPM.

    It's worth it.
The added TQ is very noticeable and there's more of it from lower in the RPM = more daily driving usable tq

Not on apr software but after a year of stage 1 i made the jump to stage 2. It's not an insane difference but its noticable and worth it IMO. Pulls like a MF'r from idle to redline.

Eagerly waiting as well and has a previous APR customer it's hard to not just pull the trigger on one of their products....be good to have an update in early 2017 from 034 at least!

Had apr stg 2 for a week now. Worth it. Much noticeable from stg 1. Tcu tune will be next for me. I paid 3hrs of labor. $1k is avg pricing.
