I have my Audi local dealership hunting down a 2017 s6 Dayton grey prestige with sports package, driver's assistance, black optics and cold weather. We haven't even dickered on price yet but I presume 6-7% off MSRP plus $1k loyalty cash?

Anyone recently purchase and willing to share how well they did off MSRP? (Of course wanting to dig into the hold/back, etc.)

    Thanks in advance!

You might want to clarify which model you're referring to... RS7? S7? S6?

I just got my 17. Already had Audi car club so used that for 6% off, and $1000 Off(switched from M3). They also through in transportation for getting car($550), full tint($300-500), and swapped my summers to winters on oem($60). Only additional expense was $100 doc fee. I thought they did very well for being a smaller dealership in the Midwest. Good luck!!

You are gone get lot of body roll and squat with S6, I don't recommend it. Wait for the new S4 to come out and buy it!

Unless you want a real engine and more refinement.

OP, are you looking for new or lightly used? If lightly used, you're going to be waiting a LONG time before you find the exact car you're looking for.

Just drove the new A4 2.0T week ago, man it was a good car, no body roll and sharp steering, even it was only front wheel drive. Front leg room was also even better than with S6/S7, that really amazed me.

I drove it. I have no problem with the drive-ability. My s4 has been a great car, but it's time for something larger and with more tech.

I'm leaning new at the moment.

I was offered 6% off without bargaining. Could've got it down more if I were planning on getting it right now. Are you based in Chicago? Which dealer did you go to?

The new A4 is a fantastic car, just bought one for my wife a few months ago. With the S-line and Quattro, it is a hell of a car for the money. As far as more front leg room than a C7, I find that hard to believe. The C7 feels a whole lot roomier to me and I've spent time in both.

OP, I went new for that reason, would have been looking forever and paid just a little bit less than brand new.

The C7 is roomier than the A4, both up front and at the rear. No doubt about that. I have both so I know for a fact.

for the 11% i had every option minus the B&O 40k down and financed the rest via audi financial at a stupid low rate but i also have the ability to get gov pricing so that was an extra 1.5%

Was the Bose system an extra? I don't remember a choice other than the B&O.

    I have a RS4 and recently got a S6 as well...
I honestly didn't think I would like the S6 that much, but the more I drive it the more I like it!
S6 handles surprisingly well, and flys!
And all the gadgets make it a great step up!
Still love to rip in the RS... and standard transition.. but the S6 is growing on me every day!
Body roll hasn't been an issue for me, but I have yet to toss it into the corners like RS!
I def would recommend going to the S6 rather than a S4!
    Good luck

Maybe it had more head room and lower seats and that made me feel like it was roomier
