    Hre ff01 sizing

Does anyone know what size the ff01 needs to be for width to have the more concave face?

I really want the concave face but don't want the 10.5" width like the s7 sizing is.

    Any help is appreciated

For the FF01 there are three selections you have in terms of wheel sizing. 19x9, 19x9.5 and 20x9. Each of those three options have the less conical face as there is no choice for a more conical option. The 10.5" we do not recommend using on the S6 platform due to improper fitment on that chassis.

Thank you for the response, do you make one in a more conical option at 20x9/9.5/10 between 30and 40 offset?

I realize you don't recommend it however I am not interested unless it's the more conical face

The only option which you may have some hope with (if you're ok with aggressive fitments), is the 20x9 ET25 option which does in fact come with a Conical Profile. As far as Audi fitment FF01's are concerned, the 20x9 ET25 I mentioned and the 20x10.5 ET35 you mentioned are the only two Conical Profile FF01's we have so it's literally those two options only. I'd opt for the 20x9 ET25 as it's 10mm's more aggressive than the 20x9 ET35 we normally recommend for the S6 as opposed to being 19mm's more aggressive with the 20x10.5 ET35 option.

Of course anyone reading this must know this is 10mm's past our recommended fitment, so it's not going to be a recommended fitment from HRE, but given the circumstance Saxon, that's likely the only option you have if you don't want the flatter profile options.

If you're looking for a concave face in the Flow forged line of wheels check out the DPE FT 5, I think is the model. A couple guys here are running them on their S6, 20x9 et35 I believe, light wheel with a nice deep concave profile.

I don't think the 20x9 ET 25 is a good look on the S6, seen it on a few and its just too much up front and if you are lowered to any reasonable degree you will need a fairly stretched tire to not rub.

I had the 20x9 ET 35 FF01 on my previous A6, and indeed they are not "concave" but still a really good fitment and a really good look on the S6. FF01's are great wheels and I am considering another set for my current S6. I understand the appeal of the concave wheel, and on certain cars they look killer, but IMO they are just not meant to be on an S6. If you want more than what the 20x9 ET 35 will give you, then find a 20x9.5 ET 35 instead of 20x9 ET 25, its not a huge difference but will bring the wheel in about 4 more mm

you'll be fine with the +25, i am running 10mm spacers on mine and it's lowered all the way on the h&r module. i believe it's posted in the HRE thread, white s6 with black FF & rs6 grille. it's a pretty close fit in the back, the front there's plenty of room still.

Heh... benefits of a big body to swallow 22x10.5 deep concave on all 4 corners. :)

Wish HRE made their flowformed wheels in larger than 20".

Saxon, buy it from modbargain They are authorized dealer and lowest priced. Contact Sean and tell him I recommended you. I just picked up FF15 from them for my C7. Went with 20x9 ET 35.

Lots of vendors! Salilkw mentioned ModBargains who is indeed an authorized dealer, but there certainly are more dealers if you or anyone else needs a shop closer to your location.

Yes, I believe we do have your photos. Here's a few good shots of the fitment so everyone can see:

And you never rub, even on certain hard turns at higher than casual speeds? If you don't, that is just weird to me.

I am lowered on both links and through VAGCOM, visually looks pretty close to how low you are, maybe a tad higher. With the stock 20" wheels on 18mm spacers and OE 255/35 tires I will rub on certain turns at certain speeds, not terrible but indeed rubs. Going from the stock 20's with 18mm spacers to a 9x20 ET25, the wheel would be another 5.4mm further out. That is what my basis of saying a 9x20 ET25 would rub when lowered somewhat significantly. Maybe the additional tire stretch on a 255 tire going from 8.5" to 9" is enough to make a difference and keep from rubbing.

Your aesthetics are spot on with your car BTW, nice work

Out of curiosity, is anyone running a staggered width setup? Like a 20x8.5/9 up front and 20x10 in back? Any advantages/disadvantage to that? I guess the disadvantage being tire rotation options, especially if one were to choose directional wheels.

    thanks for the kind words.

the front was rubbing on the fender liner screw, but i removed that when i was lowered on stock wheels and spacers.

the rear may rub a little i've felt the fender a few times and it does have a little tire residue, but it's not very often nor audible. i took the car into the local canyons and drove it fairly hard and didn't have any rubbing issues. this was loaded up with 2 adults and my 2 kids in the back.
