(for now). Thank you Enfig for providing most of the adapters I needed. I neglected to get the final Pioneer to stock harness adapter but I was able to quickly solder the harness together. I have a bunch of pictures I will get uploaded as soon as I can. I ended up finally breaking my old HTC M8 when I was doing this install and had to switch over to a new phone. I was not able to save most of the install pics but I will take a few post install when I can. The sound right now with the headunit amp/equalizer sounds a lot better than the stock RNS/E unit. I don't think the 10 year old Bose speakers are going to be able to take that much for too long so an early spring amp/speaker upgrade will happen. I hope it holds out but I don't think it will.... Either way it sounds great right now.
The only problem I am having is the FM reception is extremely limited. I understand this can be a problem with aftermarket units. I did order this adapter from Enfig-> http://enfigcarstereo.com/ENFIG_AAA_VWAUD5.html and that should have solved the problem. When I'm building the custom cigarette lighter to new usb hub I will troubleshoot it then. But if there is something I am possibly missing please let me know. The hookup of the Enfig fm/am adapter seemed simple enough, attach to stock FM/AM antenna port on car, wire to amp turn on, and then plug into radio..... POOF! I HAZ RADIO!
