I'm curious if anyone has any info on the BMC Air Filter (FB719/20) for the RS5. I searched the forum and didn't find anything that discussed any gains or losses from this product.

    Thanks!

I would imagine you will gain nothing from this filter, it's been proven the inlet path is restrictive on the RS5 and it's not due to the filter material. Noise regulations are probably responsible for the shape of the OE intake which becomes restrictive at higher revs.

Figured as much. Guess I'll be waiting until I'm out of warranty before I consider a Eventuri. Appreciate the feeeback!

It's relatively easy to swap between the intakes when you take the car in for service if that's what is putting you off going for the Eventuri.
