? About inner xenon bulbs

So i was curious when i did the j code mod on my bi xenon swap there were these tiny orange bulbs inside that i am assuming are the innner turn signal bulbs. I was wondering if its possible to replace these tiny bulbs with a clear white bulb?

Has anyone done this I couldnt find any threads on this cuz I wasnt exactly sure what to search for I am not sure what bulb it is or if its replaceable I assume it is?

I cant tell what their talking about the corner turn inricator or the inner bulb. Theres 2 I was referring to the onr on the inner part of the headlight not the bulb for thats behind the lense for the j code mod on the corner.

Why not look into a switchback LED for the turn signals? It's white when you're not indicating to turn, and orange when you are. There's another member here who did that mod. You can find out more about it here.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I think i'll pass on taking a dremel to my headlights. I'm too OCD for something like that. I guess the bulb is just not your typical bulb so there isn't a white replacement for it other than doing a mod like that.

Can you swap what? Halogens to xenons? Yes. Xenon bulbs in a halogen no.


Temperature isnt whats important. Lumens are. The higher the temperature the lower lumens you will have. The best bulbs are osrams CBI (cool blue intense) in my honest opinion... they have a slightly increased temperature while still retaining good output and habe a nice white with slight blue tint. Be careful for cheap knock offs though on ebay. A genuine set isnt cheap.

As that was done a couple of years ago, there may be a switchback replacement bulb for the turn signals. It may be worth looking into!
