    Alternator rebuild

    Quick question:

    Is it possible to rebuild these water cooled alternators?

    Does anyone know of any repair kits?

    I have the alternator out and just dropped it off at an alternator shop.

    What do you guys think?

    Its possible but its pretty pricey. Got quoted 200$ for rs4 one

    Most alternator rebuild places can do it on the cheap for around $150
    B6 S4, B8 A4, 8P A3, and something, something.
