    FWD or quattro?

if FWD then your CVT TCU is hosed.

It's fwd.. The car drives fine , There are no codes coming up at all.. Really unsure as to why it's still flashing ?!? I've read a lot that if it's the tcu codes for the transmission or sensor would come up? Not sure , just at a loss..

    Have you tried using vagcom?
I recently had my A4 read through it and it goes in depth as opposed to a regular obd2

Transmission Fluid change absolutely should be step number one. Slipping clutches means either the fluid is too old and therefore trash, or the internal clutch packs or whatever the cvt has are trashed.
