Calling those with oil pressure gauges!

What kind of oil pressures do you see at cold idle, hot idle, cruise, and WOT? I just finished installing my gage and I want something to compare to. My pressures are as follows:

    Cold idle - 50-52 psi
    Hot idle - 10-12 psi
    Cruise - 38-40 psi (at ~1800 rpm)
WOT - 60 ish psi (haven't really beat on it since gage install)

The hot idle pressures concern me but the rest look fine. I've never had a low pressure dash light and I know that a lot of pressure isn't needed at idle. I'm just trying to figure out if I have an issue or not.

I was just thinking about installing one. How did you install it, just in place of the oe oil sender?

I used the 42 Draft Designs oil pressure sender relocation kit. You put a hose into the filter housing that goes out to a small manifold where you can attach both the factory sensor and an aftermarket pressure sender. Then I hooked up the wire and ran it into the cabin via the grommet in the driver's wheel well. The control box is mounted inside the dash by the fuse box and the gage is mounted in a Podi dual pod.

What oil do you run? I'm using Rotella T6 5w-40.

I got motul specific 5w40 from Europa, it's on the more expensive side but heard a lot of good things.

Rotella is a thicker oil than motul specific, no?

If they're both rated at 5w-40 they should both be the same (roughly at least) thickness, or am I missing something?

Dont really want to go off topic here in terms of the original post, but it is a little bit more viscous at operating temps. I compared multiple oil analyses. I'm sure the difference is negligible.

Honestly the 10-12 psi is fine. I would just drive the engine until the next oil change and check again. If it was 7-8 at hot idle then i would get concerned.

I ordered a mechanical gage to check and see what it reads. I'm sure the electronic gage isn't perfectly accurate, but I hope it reads low.

Are you running the 1.8t pump conversion?

From what I saw on the 1.8t platforms is about the pressure you're reading... if running the conversion you should be fine with those numbers?
