    Hi,

I know this has been asked and answered before but I can't find anything.

With all these sales I want to go Stage 1 or 2 on my S4 but from a cost perspective close to Xmas I think I could only get Stage 1.

I'm curious if it is a noticeable improvement and worth it or should I just bite the bullet and go Stage 2?

We are talking about a $1K difference between the 2 stages

    Thanks

Go straight to stage 2. I upgraded from stage 1 Giac after a month because I didn't feel any difference till higher rpm's.

I'm also stage 2 GIAC, but I would say that stage 1 is worth the cost on its own. I was stage 1 for about 6 months before upgrading to stage 2. The biggest difference in my opinion is that stage 2 provides more power low in the rev range. But stage 1 gave a nice power improvement over stock starting around 3,500 rpm. For my driving, it just meant I spent more time in lower gears (not great for fuel economy, but there it is). Another advantage of going stage 1 first then stage 2 later is that you get the experience of improved performance twice--delay some of the gratification!

For what it's worth, my biggest regret with this car is not going to stage 2 sooner. I stayed at stock power for a couple months of ownership and then went to stage 1 and was there for a while before going to stage 2, and I will say, I wish I would have gone right to stage 2 much sooner. Take that for what it's worth as everyone is different, but that's just from my personal experience. You will notice a jump from stock to stage 1, and then another bump from stage 1 to stage 2. Obviously it's your choice though.
