    Question What is this part?

    Hello people,
I've found a wire broken in half (so no current can go through) leading to a part on my car. It has no writings whatsoever and I haven't noticed something not working due to this.
My car is a 2002 A4 Avant with a 1.9TDI (code awx) engine and this part is located in a bracket to the left of the power steering fluid reservoir. It is somewhat loose and ziptied to place.

I'd appreciate any help identifying the part and what it's supposed to do

No factory PN? If I was going to guess, I would go with an aftermarket alarm horn.

Maybe it would make sense, since I havent ever heard a sound when locking/unlocking the car since I got it.
    Any other ideas?
