As bad as you feel right now, at least you're ok!

What happened?

The car looks completely repairable from that picture but it's difficult to see.

My wife had a bump at low speed in her VW Touareg which completely destroyed the front of the car....but that's what the car is supposed to do, crumple in an impact. 2 weeks in the body shop and it looks like new again.

Fingers crossed your insurances gets it fixed up.

1st, U R ok (?) to complain, bemoan the accident, so the car did its job. (I think I C side/curtain airbag deployment?) What's the year, mileage, etc? Any other pics that may show additional damage? Wait till the body shop gives U an estimate before U give up on her & declare the car totaled. Depressing but cars can be repaired &/ or replaced. People, nope. Well there is my ex-wife, so not an absolute, but U get the point. Take some more pics if U can, that will help the "community" eyeballing & estimating damage. Good luck & keep us posted.

wow so sorry to see man! Glad you are not hurt. As a fellow Torontonian this is why I never bring my RS5 to the city. Crazy drivers. Mostly importantly you are not hurt.

Now you have more reason to love your car. It protected you. Glad you are doing okay.

The car is repairable. The only reason the insurance company will total the car is if the repair costs are greater than some percentage value of your car. Get recommendations for a good body shop.... and we look forward to the "after" pictures.
