That's actually not the vertical Allroad grill. It's the RS4 grill. I think it looks great, but I don't like the Audi rings on the hood or the Quattro sticker underneath. Plain, yes.

I personally think the honeycombs are a bit too big. Should've been slightly smaller with the Audi logo on the grill.

It's creative and I kind of like it. The part I don't like is that it reminds me a little bit of a lexus.

I know that it is not the Allroad vertical grill. I meant that I was considering getting a honeycomb grill to replace the vertical grill on the Allroad that I am ordering tomorrow.

The "Quattro" logo under the grill or on the chin spoiler is Audi's new "signature" for their high performance cars - upcoming TTRS & RS3 & a couple of others.

I have seen a couple 2017 A4 Honeycomb grill's on Ebay. However, they are chrome trimmed and I am not a huge fan of the chrome trim. I prefer the gloss black trim. However, the picture you posted looks so nice. I do like the audi rings on the hood. Kind of like the R8.

I was contemplating either wrapping my grill on my 2017 a4 in gloss black or getting a honeycomb grill. not sure yet.

That is the black optics grill. It is pretty expensive. Much cheaper to just wrap the chrome in gloss black. However, I just love honeycomb grills.

Looks like someone beat me to it but this is what I had planned to do once I get my Allroad. Plan was to go RS Honeycomb grill and order a TT badge for the hood. Was going to wrap the Allroad grill first thing and then was going to figure out the RS style after that. I very much dislike the chrome grills and much prefer the gloss black as well.

You and I have similar thoughts with what we're going to be doing it sounds like. Looking forward to seeing what you do once you start modding. I have a year still with the TDI before I'm placing my order for a 2018 color matched Mythos Black AR.

Ahhh, understand now. I should have read your post more carefully. BTW, I really like the vertical grill on the Allroad. It is a nice change from the horizontal grill on all the other Audis.

I think that they went to a vertical grill on the Allroad to be more like the Q-series SUVs, but I like how the horizontal grill emphasizes how wide and low the A4 is. I know that the Allroad sits higher though, so maybe the horizontal grill did not work with that.

There is an amazing amount of styrofoam behind the Allroad grill and seems to mount/shaped differently than the regular A4 one. Obviously nothing can be confirmed until someone try's to remove though.

On B8 the Allroad grill was not interchangeable with the A4/S4.
