Hi Guys, I have been getting a LPC error daily. When this light is on my revs are limited to 6800 and won't higher. Its only off in the morning and will rev to the full 8250... but the minute the engine is running for a few mintued it comes on. Anyone experience this before or know how to reset or turn it off?

LPC? I think you mean EPC (electronic power control) light. One of your sensors is bad. Vagcom and replace. Should be pretty simple.

    Good Luck!

Looks like your intake manifold runner sensors are going bad.

Do you have a CEL as well? It would throw a P2022 code.
Also, are you located somewhere cold?

Just had my EPC light come on again last week. Got code p2020. After temporarily clearing it I'd occasionally get p2020 & p2015 so I decided to replace both Potentiometers along with the vacuum solenoid. Fixed it. All three on the intake and easily accessible once the manifold is removed. I used an OBD2 scanner since I don't have a Vagcom yet either. Lots of threads posted depending what the codes are.
