    Clutch slipping ??

I've had several experiences of what feels like clutch slippage. It happened in 4th and 5th gear over 4000 rpm. All of the times it happened I was accelerating full throttle from a lower gears merging onto the highway. The first time it happened I thought I simply hit the rev limiter and the power cut out. The next few times I realized that the revs were increasing without any power to the wheels. I tried letting off the throttle and resuming while remaining above 4000 rpm and it continued to "slip". shifting into another gear regained engine power, going back into the same gear that had the problem and at the same rpm did not have the same slippage. I have not been able to recreate the slipping yet it has happened 4 or five time in the last 2 months. I have not noticed any signs of clutch slippage during my daily driving even spirited runs through the gears.

I've had the exact same experience just in the last 2 weeks, never happened before. I have 24k miles and am stage 2. I'm a little concerned because I am about to do dual pulley. I think it has something to do with the colder weather right now but at the same time my car is definitely feeling quick with the negative DA's out recently and my ethanol blend.

Make sure you can flash back to stage II... dual pulley tune will likely be too much, even for onramps. I have USP clutch line going in the second week of December, will report back on clutch performance afterwards, but thinking I will need a new clutch to hold the power. I'm only at 25k.

The second day of dual pulley power, the smell of burning clutch entered the cabin after a few hard shifts...no launches.

Same issues with me...seems like it doesn't catch or fully engage at times. I've owned sticks my whole life, never replaced a clutch. This might be the first...and I'm under 25K.

Pretty much par for the course if you're Stage 2, or even stock if you drive aggressively. My clutch will slip if I try to do a hard launch, if I get on the throttle too quickly between 1-2 shifts (before the clutch is fully engaged), or if I don't rev-match when downshifting from like 6th to 3rd.

You'll need to either adjust your driving style or just start saving for a new clutch!
