Everytime I plug VCDS into my car and check anything with it, my battery dies. It doesn't die completely as EVERYTHING still work except for turning the motor over. I have to jump it in order for the car to start.

Went to advance auto to check the batter and everything is fine with it, same with the alternator too.

Also, my ESP light is now stuck on after jumping it..

    What gives???

I'd put my money on a failing battery. Shit can get weird with the CANBUS system and low charge batteries. Flickering LEDs, systems going out and other weird stuff.

ESP light is always on after you disconnect the batt. And low power is the same thing. Backup about 20 feet, it will go out.
