Manual shift knob upgrade....

Hey guys,

After driving for 13 years,(By many persons....) it's time to refresh the manual shift knob... It's REALLY dirty...
so what I want to ask is that do I have to get a shift knob from Audi a4 b6/7 chassis or those later models (like a3's 6 speed knob )manual shift knob is also suitable I like the ???

I found an a3 knob with the boot

The a3 shift knob will fit but with a bit of trimming.Otherwise it will hit when you engage reverse
