Seriously considering picking up a high flow cat for my Avant. Any major differences in quality or longevity between the manufacturers? Likely to go 034 or Eurocode unless spending another $200 for AFR or similar will make a difference.

I've had the 034 HFC for about 4 years now , no cel and still working as designed . Felt a great boost and quicker spool . 2005 Passat 1.8t

I have the 034 motorsport HFC. Great piece and no issues. Got a little more sound after the install and am running the factory exhaust after the HFC.

id say go with 034 motorsport HFC. had mine for over a year. members have had their eurocode break at the weld spots. pair it with a gfb DV+ for a quicker spool

I think it comes down to cost, and perhaps longevity as a second consideration.

My 034 held up great for 4 years of hard running including a hard track day in serious heat at altitude. Mine cracked at a weld on the flange area. No big deal really, like I said I beat the car up pretty good for 4+ years.

The APR cast piece on their HFC looks more robust. But again the price is steeper as well.

I read years ago from an OP here you shouldn't expect more than 3-4 years out of a HFC. Not sure if there is any empirical evidence to prove that point.
