Thinking about picking up wheels for a winter tire set up. Will these work/look good?

    Front: 17x8 ET34 225/45 R17
    Rear: 17x8.5 ET37 255/40 R17

Even though they are close, I would stay away from mismatched wheels/tires and I don't know if 17s fit over the stock front calipers.

It seems that 17s are close but fit. How does the different size affect things?

I would be a bit wary with the Quattro with different width wheels. Again, they are similar in size so it's not that big of a deal but still not a best practice.

Looking in to more...as long as the diameter of the tire is the same front and back it will not make a difference. There are several stock awd vehicles that come with staggered set up the gtr being the main one that comes to mind.
