nasty shudder on moderate to full throttle

Hey guys, i just picked up a used 2009 a4 quattro with 90k on it. When I go moderate to full throttle, the car bucks hard and feels like the engine is cutting power almost. I am having some trouble diagnosing this, could it be bad gas (dealer put regular in) bad coils? Dirty fuel system? Or a problem with the turbo. I don't have any check engine codes when this happens so the car clearly is pulling power for protection of some sort, unless im mistaking it being the engine and its actually along the driveline, but the car drives fine otherwise, and you can slowly vary the throttle until its starts to shudder lightly and then worse as you go harder on the gas. Doesnt seem to be speed related at all. Just looking for some input on where to look. Ordered a set of R8 red top coils and gonna replace all 4 just for shits and giggles and soon as I go through this dealer gas, gonna fill up with premium at shell or sunoco.

No codes? Have you done a VAG full scan? something must be coming up, but not causing an idiot light.

    Could be the spark plugs...

turned out to be a combination of a bad coil and improperly gapped plugs from the dealer

Had the exact same problem with my car 2012 A4 engine was cutting out under moderate boost with a flashing CEL. Brand new red R8 coil packs was bad. Pain in the ass.

Still having this issue. Replaced spark plugs with correctly gapped ones. Replaced coils with the R8 ones. Even cleaned the MAF and still it shudders sometimes. 2010 a4 premium m/t
