Do any of you guys always have a stroller in the Q? If so, what model?

We've gone through a couple, a Baby Jogger City Mini Gt, Baby Jogger City Select with two seats, and now an UppaBaby G-Luxe. They all fit under the cargo cover but obviously limits what your vertical space.

We also had a BOB Double Jogger, that took up a lot of space, could not use the cargo cover, and had to remove the front wheel to fit. We have the rear seats in the farthest back position.

We should probably just add a dad sub forum at this point lol. We have a Bugaboo Bee and an Uppababy G-Luxe also. The Bee is smaller than what most people have for a primary stroller, but I wanted something I could carry up and down stairs to get to the subway here. And we actually have two G-Luxes now. The first had a bolt that backed out a couple of times, nothing super dangerous, but after the second time Uppababy decided to just send us a new stroller. Their customer service rocks. We got to keep the extra one, so we leave it in the trunk of the Q full time.

I can't contribute specifically about the Q, but we used the single version of the BOB referenced above, and it was the shit. It was always in the back of the Murano my wife had at the time, which had a deceptively small hatch. We used it for everything, and it was easy for her to fold and stow.

I'm importing a Recaro citylife stroller and Recaro Privia car seat from Germany. I should have it next week, I'll report back once it gets here.

Of those, which one do you like the most? My goal is to have smallest as possible, as it's always going to be in the trunk for us.

LOL, yes. Bugaboo Bee seems like a good compact option. Uppababy G-luxe seems to be a popular option, but those umbrella strollers take up so much room.

Pictures of it folded up in the Q? It seems pretty big?

Cool, I should add this to the list to check out.

We used the Chicco KeyFit when my son was born, but after he was big enough we left an umbrella stroller in each vehicle. We used the Britax Blink because it was light, but very sturdy. You can normally find a deal on Amazon or Albee Baby. We tried other brands like Peg Perego and Maclaren, but the Britax was better.
We run a lot of races so we had a running stroller too. We tried the BOB, but it wasn't that great. The Joovy Zoom 360 ended up being the best for us. They have outstanding customer service and tech support too. We had a stroller that started making a clicking sound in the rear wheels and shaking while running. I called tech support and after we went through a few checks they wanted to see the stroller in their shop. Even though it was out of warranty they overnighted a new stroller and a label to ship the old one back so they could test it. The replacement didn't have any issues and it had a lot of miles put on it over the past 5 years.

The City Mini GT is probably the lowest profile, leaves you more room to pile stuff on it, or leave it on top. It's still wide and will take up 1/2 to 2/3 the cargo area width, they all do really.

The G-Luxe is the most portable, but it takes up room length wise and isn't ideal for Infants.

Honestly it's just different stages, we went from one Infant, to one Toddler, to an Infant and a Toddler, to Two Toddlers. Now that we have only one Toddler in a stroller I think the G-Luxe is perfect. You end up packing around whatever stroller you decide is right for you, I would focus less on the room it takes up and more on the features and ease of use.

If you can't tell yet, you'll almost definitely end up with multiple strollers no matter how hard you try! We were hoping to just get by with the Bee, but once they get older, you realize the value of an umbrella stroller. And then you have a second kid and start all over haha. We're just doing everything we can to avoid getting a double stroller at this point!

I'll cosign what @mmth_ski_bum said about the G-Luxe as well. It's portable but not really usable for a newborn. For the length, it will fit across the trunk but just barely at the widest part near the back. It won't fit in front-to-back.

Mountain buggy - ideal fit and perfect for carry on to the plane. If it fits in overhead, you know it will fit in the Q.

if multiple strollers are inevitable - the doona car seat stroller has been working pretty well for our newborn - taking up zero cargo space.
I'm just not a fan of the latch system. The audi car seat tutorial makes the isofix bases look so much easier.

Our primary stroller is the Bugaboo Cameleon and its fits in the back with the cover. Doesn't leave much room for larger cargo but we are happy with it's capacity to hold our baby grear. Out secondary stroller more for quick trips and travel is the Mountain Buggy Nano and we love it. It's compact and even fits behind the drivers seat.

Only use the big one for something Formal.
