    Question 75k service

    I have a 2011 A5 2.0T

I am about 700 miles from my 75k mile service.

Whats the cost of this service?

Anything I should specifically ask them to look for?

Do you recommend going to the dealer for this or a place like http://www.driveautoworks.com?

Not sure about the A5, but I just had it done at the local dealer for my S5 and it was $400. Synthetic oil change and cabin/pollen air filter change. Everything else was checks and visual inspections. Pretty steep, but the car is new to me and I wanted them to look it over.

Ok that makes sense. I know the oil change alone is $100-$120.

Should be coils, plugs, oil and filter. Make sure you do carbon cleanup as well. Did mine at 73K, that thing looked terrible in there.

Ok thanks. I am going to have the dealer take care of it.
