Looking to put together a Whispbar flush bar (S26) with a Yakima Fatcat 6. Anyone else run this setup on their C7?

I really wanted the Thule aero bars because they come in black but they aren't a flush mount onto the roof (atleast for our cars).. meaning the tips of the bars stick out on the sides of the car. Whispbar only comes in silver but does have the flush mount.. plastidip will work here. I could go with a Whispbar snow mount to "keep it in the family" but as mentioned earlier, they only make their products in silver.

I found a guy on the interweb that has this setup on his Golf so assume the Yakima and Whispbar play well together since they are cousins afterall. Just wondering if anyone with a C7 has tried this as well.
