    Center channel speaker

Googled but couldn't really find anything useful on how to do get rid of this channel

I added brand new Focal 165AS components, they are run off HU power, no separate amp. They sound fantastic but the center channel really kills it. I know the center speaker is run through the front speakers so simply snipping the wire on the harness is out of the question.

How do I remove the grill to access it?

When I do this, will I be able to just snip a wire or two or simply unplug it, or even remove it?

Help would be much appreciated, I tested by cover the speaker grill with a box and sure enough it sounds muuuuch better

why it is out of the question? Just cut/remove the center speaker wires from the brown connector -- it's pretty obvious which ones they are. They don't run thru the front speakers, they're simply powered by the same outputs

all bose speakers run off the trunk mounted amplifier, rather than the fronts/center being powered by the head unit.

Oh yeah duh. I have no clue what the person was talking about then. OK, so look for the brown wire on the harness and it will only control the center speaker

no - the brown 8-pin connector, of which the center 4 are populated (front L/R +/-), 2 of which have smaller gauge wires inserted as well -- those two are the center channel wires

Well I have an Enfig kit making things a bit harder I think. Was pulling on cables and gave up. My rear speakers are now no longer playing and my remote for my sub amp came undone and still doesn't power up when I touch the wires together. Yay me. Stuck at work all day now.

Figured out my issue. Anyways, just to check. Is it the ones circled in Red? I can cut these two wires and only center goes out

no, that would be very bad to do. I've said several times now that it's the brown 8-pin connector with the 4 center pins used, 2 of which are doubled up for the center channel. The wires circled in red do not match that description.
