    Front Splitter Question

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I have been looking at front splitter options FOREVER. I dont really want to go the cupra route if I don't have to.

I was wondering if this would work...
    Audi Part #: 4F0807110A 1RR

I technically do not have the facelift, but I think it could fit?

Also, SIN - is this different than the one you have? I know that wont work.

I'm definitely interested in this. Have you been able to find any for sale?

That one is different than mine. This looks to mount directly under the bumper so it really shouldn't matter if you are facelift or not as the overall shoe of the bumper is the same with different contour features.

That’s what I thought… It didn’t look like it has the part that attaches to the bottom of your F bumper.

I think this could be a viable option for anyone who didn’t want to go the cupra L route.
Here’s the thread of the guy who fitted it to his car:

It should fit as it mounts to the underside of the bumper not the front lip like mine. The general shape of the bumpers are the same, just different cosmetic details.

That is what I am hoping! I have not pulled the trigger yet.
Although, my car was hit recently and the front bumper is going to be resprayed so maybe this is the time to do it?!

I actually put the order on hold until the spring because
    a) I don't want to damage it during winter (I live in Canada)
    b) I can't decide on the colour I want since they come painted in your body colour. Thinking of going black instead of my factory gray.

Just ordered one, will see how it looks on a Pre-Facelift S-Line bumper. For $158 shipped couldn't pass it up. Will post pictures when it arrives.

Be careful ordering this part the small middle chin piece is nearly the same number as the RS6 spoiler. Chances are if you are buying this item for around $100-$150 and they offer colors it is the small center piece from the stock facelift bumpers. I know this from experience.

Yup, that's what happened to me, was not too pleased to receive the small middle piece...do you know the correct part number for the full RS6 splitter?

If you check my mod thread, the OEM part numbers are listed there. It is a 3 piece setup; splitter (left and right) that attaches to the bumper and the blade that attaches to the splitter.

    I think the original # is correct: 4F0807110A 1RR.

Most of the websites with easy shipping to the US use the #: 4F0-807-110-C-1RR. I am guessing that the "C" variant is just a "center piece..?

Here are other posting that use the original 4F0807110A1RR
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...-S-Line-bumper
    http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...ee-photoshoot!
    http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads....173384/page-4
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...0953-front-lip

I may have to go to the dealer and see if I can order the "A" variant and make sure to have them verify it is the whole front piece. It might be a case of this being a EU exclusive piece since the C6 RS6 never made it to the USA. I know there is a thread out there where they talk about hiving it shipped in from the UK and it cost some people ~$350. That might be the last one i posted, but IDRemember

Well gang, in the time I've searched for a US based seller or easy/cost effective import method for the OEM splitter, I may have found an alternative.

    Checkout:
    http://www.maxtondesign.eu/produkt/a...e-preface.html

But, like all things C6. ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IN USA! Ugh
Even ECS carries the rear spoiler all other front slitter variants.

So... Now I am debating whether it is worth it to special order (if it makes $$$ sense) or to see if I can fit a different model.

I have begun looking and taking measurement of other bodies and wondering if I could fit any of the below.
    C7 A6
    B7 A/S4
    C7 A7
    B7 A/S5
    ...other

This damn pre-facelift front end solution is eating me alive

You have the facelift SLine bumper. Getting even more difficult to find a splitter for yours.

Actually he doesn't, he has Facelift Non-Sline bumper. Facelift Sline has rounded fog lights -> the car at the beginning of this thread
