Budget Cooling Options - Simplest Option?

So I'm not living in the hottest part of the world, but we do run into 90 degree days in summer and the car definitely feels slower in that weather. DA's are rarely under 2k (usually over 3k in summer). I don't think I need the full pump/resevoir/HE package and I'm not looking to drop
almost 2k on kit like the AMS or APR kits.

I am looking at going dual pulley (183 mm) and am looking at the simplest cooling upgrade I can find - would that be the PLM kit?

I don't want to piece together my own kit. Just something simple to install and effective.

Well. Apr has a sale on their front mount heat exchanger at the moment. $450.

^Holy crap that's pretty cheap. Are they coming up with a newer upgraded version or something?

I'd jump on that APR deal and wait until summer to add the reservior if needed

I'd recommend doing a proper kit vs just a portion of a kit to save money. If you are looking to get noticeable and reliable and consistent cooling during hot months you need all the components - otherwise don't bother... just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I really don't want to peice anything together. It does seem like a reservoir and HE are the biggest keys to reducing IAT's.

I'm just picking through scattered info on these kits. Plus, we have the killer chiller stuff as well.

I'm looking the simplest/cheapest "kit" option for a DIY'er. PLM or Forge seem the lowest priced, but I'm not sure what else is out there.

I would say the PLM would be the best value if you want the reservoir (which is larger than the Forge unit).

Yeah probably, it will only take 8 years to be released too.
