Is the air bag for the Q5 the same as the airbag for the Flat Bottom S4 B8.5 wheel?

Looking at this air bag for a Flat Bottom retrofit.

It claims it's for the A4/S4 as well but when I google the part number all I find is Q5/SQ5 references.
Want to make sure it works before I go through the hassle.

Looks right to me - my guess is it would work, but:
I'd call the parts department at your local Audi shop and ask them to double check for you. Or if you have an SA you work with shoot him an email and ask. They should be able to tell you definitively.

The dealer was little help. These kinds of changes are not something they can confirm or deny to work.

But I don't believe that air bag will work. I believe the air bag I need has small cutouts on the sides.

So I am looking at this one now....

I'd really appreciate some more thoughts from people that have done this.

Also will I need a wiring harness? All my searching does not confirm if I do or don't.

Yes - now that I think about it you want the one with those contours/cutouts on the side. I remember mine had that when I did my flatbottom upgrade.
If the new wheel you are getting does NOT come with the harness then I believe you will need to get that.
