Lost navigation and blue tooth function

After starting my car this afternoon, I received notice that "Your navigation system is not yet activated, please contact your Audi dealer". No access to navi at all. The system displayed that I have full signal for LTE and I checked that my Audi Connect Prine trial period doesn't end until another 22 days

I also noticed my phone wasn't connected so I checked the phone connectivity...no phone was connected so I tried adding a phone but the system tells me "The Bluetooth coonectivity is currently unavailable".

One last comment is that while driving home today, the system auto rebooted while I was driving.

Any suggestions before I contact the dealer?

You can try a factory reset but you will need your AudiConnect code that came with the car to link the car to your account.

I considered a factory reset. But where would I find this code? When I set things up with the dealer (when I picked up the car) there was so much I wasn't familiar with at the time. Where would this code be found?

Not 100% sure. I'd imagine calling the dealer would probably get you the correct code?

I had to prove it to the dealer. For the map they said it just needed an update for the bluetooth, they tried to blame our iphone, when i told them my android also didnt work they amazingly tried to say it was a phone update not the car..... i asked if they thought it was weird that both phones and the maps stopped working at the same time, they still tried to blame the phones, i went and asked for another a4 from the lot, they got a loaner and of course my phones worked no prob, of course when the tried to update the maps they found the mmi comp was bad, after they replaced it my phones worked again

Sounds like you have a bad dealer, not a bad iphone...

I did a hard reset on the MMI but that didn't make a difference. I scheduled to bring the car in Black Friday Will keep you posted. If anyone else has this problem and they were able to resolve it without going to the dealer, I'd like to know.

you can get the code from the plastic fob that came with the keys, if you dont have it anymore you might have to buy a new one from the dealership

I brought it to the dealer. They had to reset and reprogram everything. I'm not sure why it took a few hours to do this. Apparently the blue tooth, navi and MMI connection are all tied together.

Did you sign any paperwork about a warranty claim? Sounds odd that the dealer would try to hide that from you but this is a relatively common occurrence in these cars. I had my 5f control module replaced just a couple of months ago after my MMI system froze for eight minutes while driving and rebooted. Following morning I got in the car and hit the maps to find out it said it wasn't configured. Tried to make a call and the bluetooth was dead.

Hate to say it but I don't think they just reprogrammed your car. I'll bet they replaced the control module because that does take a few hours to reprogram.
