    Engine mount condition after 52K miles

    After reading threads about engine mount failures over the past few years and 034 motorsport pushing their street density mounts posting pics of destroyed factory mounts I was worried that my mounts' days might be numbered. I regularly drive my car hard and running a EuroChatter stage 3 clutch the last 18 months really shook the drivetrain every time I left a stop. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my mounts are near perfect after 5+ years and 52K miles with lots of aggressive driving. They were super easy to see since I had the trans out for a clutch job.

    drivers side has a slight crease, but that's it. Passenger side is perfect.

    Vogz, did you replace your Eurocode w/ the Sachs?

    Engine mount condition after 52K miles

    That crease was where mine went out. When it went out, it sounded like a woodpecker was in my engine bay at any speed above 7mph. Mine went out somewhere around the same mileage you have. Actually at 48k miles I brought the car in for regular maintenance and asked the tech to look out for the mount to give me an update. Came back and told me it was wearing but it was still ok... so less than 10k miles later the mount was done.
