Busy week with two new Audi's

So after a lot of test driving and calculating I ended up back with an audi, we'll 2 of them but one is my GF's. I got a 2017 Glacier white Q5 3.0t P+ with tech and sport interior, and she got the 2017 Ibis white A4 P+ with, tech, cold weather and sport interior. I'm not new to Audi but wow am I impressed with the new A4, it is nothing near my 09 B8. The 3.0t Q5 is also exceeding my expectations although it's very similar in design and style to the B8. Overall extremely happy with both cars.
Sorry for the crapy pic, I'll post better once soon.

    2 questions:
What tune should I got for? I had APR on the B8 and was happy with it.
I can't seem to find the rs style grill for the Q5 anyone has a link?

    Awesome congrats!

I think most people have been getting their RS-style grills from JC Sportsline. There's some modifications that need to be done to get it to fit. RS Honeycomb Style Grill Install is a good thread on the install. I think you can order off eBay or direct off their website: RSQ5 honeycomb Mesh Front Grill for Audi Q5.

For tunes, that's a can of worms as far as what tune to go with. It really depends on what your priorities are. EPL has a Black Friday sale going on and seems to be getting more traction lately. I personally went with APR as I felt most comfortable with the R&D capabilities they have (and FWIW, they also have the supposed "ultracharger" release on the horizon). I don't think you can really go wrong with any of the major tunes out there though. The 3.0T has been pretty well established for tunes at this point. I'd just go with what's available to you locally at your indy shop. It looks like you're in Brooklyn, so Tyrol and Eurotech are probably the shops you want to go with in the area.

    agree with my man riceboy.

really any tune is fine it seems
APR has a good following and so do the others
since you are in an area that has a lot of support your options are numerous.
vs myself, in a limited region, i went with EPL since i can flash at home.
theres a thread here somewhere that has a list of the various member and which tune they have

thankfully no drama in this subforum. that seems to stay in the a4/s4/s5 region lol

Thank for all that info, that was very helpful! I have visited Tyrol once before so might end up going there to get the tune for this car. And couldn't agree more with Doc definitely a whole lot less of crying going on here from everything that I read so far. Thanks guys

I haven't been to Tyrol before but have heard good things. For Eurotech, if you take a look at their Instagram page, you'll probably have a good idea of why they have the reputation they do. I rented a car recently when I had some work done there, and the guys from the rental car company were telling me how they rent cars to people coming from all over just to go Eurotech. They keep their garage cleaner than my apartment LOL.
