There's a facelifted S3, a new S4 coming, an RS3, and a slew of other new cars/platforms released or being released in the next 18 months. My guess: B8/B8.5 is going to be a mothball/filler project for APR.

2. It's boost season. Ultracharger isn't out yet. Missed the target for a couple reasons, but we're still on it.

There's not much to this part man. The new unit is probably a different core design (number of passes, maybe fin design or count, maybe even thickness, etc.). But in the end it's still the same thing... a radiator... you can't change the existing one since it's pretty much set in stone as to what it is part wise.

Question - if I buy the heat exchanger - does it come with all the hardware to bolt to the stock system?

For this price, I would simply upgrade the heat exchanger and be done with it, but I don't want to mess around if I need to gather up some hoses or if the system won't hook up to the stock one easily.

The hoses you can get at any auto store.

Looking at the picture, if you have a B8 you will likely be fine.

If you have a B8.5 you will need to pick up a long run of hosing to go from the pass side to the drivers side.

This is because the B8.5 has a newer designed HX where both leads come off on the drivers side. The B8 the inlet was on the drivers side the outlet on the pass.

FWIW, when I installed my AWE Coldfront kit I wasn't happy with how they wanted the hoses to be ran. (Reusing factoring hosing)

So I went out and bought 5' of new hosing for <$10 and used that for some of the runs.

2 weeks. Sorry Arin, couldn't resist. May I suggest holding off on future "teaser threads" until the kinks have been worked out and a final product is in production? I think this and the whole Magnuson debacle has caused some well-founded skepticism about your product releases and the corresponding timelines. I am an APR loyalist and have always supported the brand so please take my comments as constructive.

You can use the stock one.
