    Thanks. I'm quite happy with all the mods I've done. I didn't set out to do all of this in the beginning. The original plan was to do Stage 2 and suspension. But then I realized that I had put 7500 miles on it in under 6 months. So I bought a daily. At that point I decided to go all in. Since I wasn't going to be driving it on a daily basis it no longer needed to be civilized.

    Well shit...
    I'm now forced to get rid of my Avant Gardes. Unfortunately they don't clear the calipers.
    And to make things worse the problem was discovered only after the wheels were mounted to the car. So now there's a bit of a gouge on the inside of the wheel barrel. I really loved the look of the M510s. I'm really disappointed because when I ordered the wheels the vendor assured me that they'd fit with the BBK.

    Now for some good news...
    I took the car to Crown Motorsports today to have the dual pulley tune flashed.
    All I can say so far is holy shit!!! This thing is fast. Going from a stage 2 file to the dual pulley file feels more dramatic than going from stock to stage two. I can't wit for our track rental next weekend to see what it really can do.

    I want to thank Crown Motorsports Division for getting this done as well as all the guys at GIAC.

    Bunch of good guys all around! I can agree with that statement too, it feels more dramatic, just simply more TQ everywhere and still shoved back into the seat well into 4th gear Happy the file worked on your bad-ass ride, those RE-11's got some nice looking traction to them

    Also, holy shit!!! This GIAC dual pulley tune is amazing. I really need to get the car to a dyno. This thing is FAST!! There is so much power that when I launch the car I start to lose my grip on the steering wheel. I had to move my seat forward to keep a grip on the wheel.

    I'm going to post videos from my weekend at Sebring from two weeks ago. I've gone through about 4 of the 5 hours of footage that I have. I guess it's time that I create a YouTube account.

    Awesome I subscribed to the thread because you have actually done everything I can't afford lol. I'm going to have to pick and choose my upgrades wisely because I have a savings and a checking and all my money is in my savings and I don't think I can transfer it in time lol I hope you get that reference. Anyway I just went stage 1 apr and got the cr-15. Can I pick your brain for a good next upgrade bang for the buck. I was thinking exhaust but your opinion would be nice!

    As for best bang for you buck, That depends on budget and what your goal is. My AWE Tuning Touring sounds amazing, but exhausts don't do anything for performance on our cars. If you want sound, there's no better way to go, though. That and an open filter intake like ECS, RocEuro (terrible customer service), or CTS.

    I went with better suspension and handling before exhaust. If you are on a budget you can get a set of H&R springs and Bilstein shocks for a reasonable price. It will really transform the handling. I wouldn't recommend the KW coilovers that I have. The rear springs are too soft - even softer than stock. If you aren't going to track the car you can save money by avoiding coilovers. After that I'd go with sway bars and end links then an Alu Kreuz.

    But as I said, it all depends on what your goals are.

I really appreciate it especially from someone who really knows. I don't have a plan yet it's a daily driver but I want to get a little more of its potential. I like to just drive a bit quick on occasion. I can only sneak so much money bye the wife at one time tho. So for me it's just general performance bang for the buck. And do the must haves first.     What octane tune you running? Have you tried mixing in E85?

    Depends on what I'm doing.
    If I'm driving around town or going to the drag strip I use MS109 (105 octane)
    When I do an HPDE I switch to the pump file and use ethanol free 93 octane.

    I haven't put any ethanol in the car in more than 6 months now. Since I have another car that I use as a daily I don't drive the S4 as often as I used to. And I didn't want the ethanol corroding everything while the car sits. I'm probably a bit over paranoid.

    The clutch pedal goes to the floor and doesn't come back up. Then it won't go back into gear until I coast for a little bit in neutral. It happens every time on the 2-3 upshift on the drag strip and the 4-3 downshift on a road course (quite dangerous going into turn 3 at Sebring). It even happens on the street with just moderately aggressive driving.

    It appears to be the pressure plate. Either it's defective or just can't handle the amount of power the car has. We will know for sure when everything comes out next week.

    I just got the 3R clutch put in at JHM and they replaced my slave too. Said it was wore a little, I only have 26,000 miles. Sure it wasn't a slave issue?

    I've only had it a few days but so far it's awesome. Clutch pedal is only slightly heavier and with the flywheel and clutch line it shifts so much faster. Can't wait to rip on it after break in and see what it can really do.

    Do you have a USP line without the resonator on your slave?

    We've already talked, but I think the R series will solve your problems. On a side note, DP cars HATE stock intakes.

    Personally, I think they should stop selling the non-R series all together.

    Me too. I'm not pleased that I have to pay to replace a clutch with only 3000 miles on it. I feel JHM should at least list the power limitations of each of the clutches they offer.
